Tinkers Bag new show at Sidmouth & Bideford Festivals
At last the new show has been started. After a break in performing whilst rehearsing and preparing for the new show, Tinkers Bag are very pleased to be booked to perform their new show "Songs of Old Wiltshire".
This can be seen in a preview at Devizes Folk Club some time in July (TBA) and will receive it's first major performance on the first Sunday in August at Sidmouth Folk festival.
We are also playing at the Bideford Folk festival a week after Sidmouth and will hopefully do some local performances here in Wiltshire soon after that.

Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre
This fantastic resource is now fully open and we'd urge you to visit sometime as it has just about everything you need for family research, house history and much, much more.
There is some exciting news coming soon about Wiltshire Folk Songs but we'll let you know about that as soon as we have all the full details.
The Centre is in Cocklebury Road ( about 250 yards past the station in Chippenham) and is heartily recommended for a visit.
Things are looking up for this year's Festival with tickets selling fast. If you are not yet on their email list please do check into the web site www.chippfolk.co.uk, and pick up the link on the front page. There are still good value tickets available and with luck and some great weather we'll have a ball. Come and join us.
