The Club The club runs a mixture of “club nights” – informal singarounds for floor singers – and guest nights (the guest spots are about an hour and a quarter, with a break). You can come along and just listen, or you can sing a song or play a tune. Our material is mainly traditional, but with a large smattering of songs from the current folk scene, as well as other stuff. We welcome performers of all abilities. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging, so come along and have a go! It doesn’t matter how good you are – we all had to start somewhere! WWW.VILLAGEPUMPFOLKFESTIVAL.CO.UK The new festival site is outstanding. There is a bar there, so do pop along and have a look. It’s the WHITE HORSE COUNTRY PARK in Westbury. I’m in negotiation with some big name artists, most of which I can’t divulge at the moment but a certain clown from Easterton may be seen and a national treasure from Bradford On Avon may well be bringing along The MGPlayers Plus loads more yet to be confirmed keep an eye on WWW.VILLAGEPUMP.ORG.UK for the latest news. As you can imagine many of these nights will be sell-outs, so to be sure of a seat it’s a good idea to book tickets. We are looking at ways of administering ticket sales at the moment, in the meantime just get in touch with me on the number below.
